Oldest olympian of all time, Oscar Swahn, was 72 years and 280 days old when he competed at the 1920 Antwerp Games. Swahn is also the oldest person to win an Olympic medal (silver) and the oldest gold medalist (at 64), competing in three separate Games between 1908 and 1920.
